What are sidelights? Well, windows that let in light, beside a door. They can be clear glass, paned glass, textured glass or stained glass. Most sold in the United States are clear paned glass.
Stained glass adds such a unique quality of texture, color and dimentison. There are an endless variety of patterns, colors and themes. This is a true stained glass, with leaded joints but with the added safety feature of being sandwiched between clear glass. That glass is beneficial, adding a safety element, preventing the pieces from popping out, a thermal barrier from the elements and a security barrier too.
