I adore ranch homes. I grew up in one, as did my husband. That feel of the open floor plan is so appealing. When we built our home, we also opted for a ranch with a bonus over the garage.
SO GLAD I have a ranch right now. With a fracture in my ankle, I am in a cast up to my knee. We have hardwood floors throughout our home and I can easily maneuver around the house with no stairs to deal with. Using crutches is tiring so I scoot my office chair around the house. It does scratch the floors but at least I can still get all the things I need done!
This beautiful new home is a ranch with cathedral ceilings and a bonus room above the garage. Looks similar to mine!
