Here is a great story for a Grandmother’s home illustration…
“When my Granddaddy passed away she had to move out of town and live with my parents. She gets pretty homesick and I think she would love a picture of home on her wall in her little room. I have some specific requests, as the pictures don’t show exactly what I would like…I can’t wait to see her little face!
- On the bottom of the front storm door are the numbers 208.
- The front porch on the left hand side there is a brick planter going up about 4 feet, there is nothing planted (and never was) there but I’m not sure if you can tell what it is in the picture.
- There are azaleas planted under the windows. The tall “trees” in front of the azaleas are camellias. These trees are a sore spot for her. They are supposed to be bushes, full on the bottom and only going up about 1/3 of the way up the windows. She had a guy cut them and she’s very upset about how he “butchered” them and I definitely don’t want a constant reminder of them looking like that. ha ha. So, if you can fill them in on the bottom and round them up on the top about 1/3 of the way up the window height that would be great.”
She reported back on Christmas day, that Grandma cried! I don’t want people to cry but I do want their memory to reflect the illustration they receive. Merry Christmas Grandmother!
