Happy Anniversary to Your Door and More!!

We are so excited to celebrate!  It was one year ago we burst onto the scene.  At HollyFest we had our booth, amid the drizzle and downright rain. At points, it was raining sideways.  We had the Mims illustration framed and on a brass easel in a large plastic bag.  All the individual notecards, used for demonstration purposes were sealed in Ziploc bags.  Many braved the rain and mushy grass to have fun with the locals.  A huge thanks to Cindy Rose, from whom we borrowed the pop-up canopy.  We saw old friends, children’s past teachers, people we had dance class, met some new friends and spoke with many people who were looking for something like what we did.  Many contacts were made and they enjoyed the Leslie-Alford-Mims illustration.  We celebrated with Cosmopolitans at our local Bass Lake Ale House later.

Holly Springs’ Mayor Sears was supposed to make an appearance for a photo opportunity but he was unexpectedly called away.  We still braved the rain, which finally stopped and enjoyed the rest of the day.

Thanks to all who we met!
